Job Overview: Producer

Reporting to the company's Event Direcotr annd working closely with the. company's owners and team, the role of a producer for conferences and events at Action Impact involves the following:

Pitches

  • Interrogate and develop clients' Tenders and RFP's into tangible internal briefs, making intelligent assumptions and undertaking research where necessary.
  • Work closely with in-house and external creative resources to develop the most appropriate and viable creative solutions to those briefs.
  • Work closely with technical and operational teams to develop great value and high impact pitch responses.
  • Have the ability to write and / or edit copy for pitch responses; amalgamating information and various sources if needs be and ensuring it all has a common tone and delivers against the brief. If you don't already have this skill set, you would need to be willing  to learn.
  • Be comfortable presenting these pitches to our clients or be willing to learn

Producing

  • You will likely have been producing, Event Managing, Designing or planning events for at least 5 years; the more experience the better. To be clear: this means 'leading' events' development (creative, technical and financial) and delivery rather than a support role.
  • Build event teams and then pro-actively lead and support all members of the team from cradle to grave: from initial kick off, through planning and development, delivery and with post-event requirements.
  • Know when to step in and when to step back and create an open environment of trust where your team know they can approach you for help and support.
  • Have a good working knowledge of common event technical, logistical and practical equipment, services and common practices.
  • Be familiar with managing often complex (complex, not necessarily huge) evolving and changing live event budgets.
  • Be able to to identify where there are knowledge, skill or experience gaps and either full them yourself where viable or find others or other solutions ti fill them.

In return, you can expect:

  • A salary circa AED XXX / year which will be tax free once you have relocated to Dubai.
  • XX days holiday / year.
  • United Arab ~Emirates (UAE) residents VISA.
  • Support relocating to Dubai: the practical, social and emotional sides of life.
  • The ability to grow and progress through the Agency.
  • Mentoring and support as required, subject to your current experience.
