MEA Markets magazine has awarded Action Impact ‘Best Museum Designers 2017’ in the 2017 UAE Business Awards for the museum project "Saruq Al-Hadid" in Shindaga, Dubai.
The UAE Business Awards 2017 are designed to celebrate the talent that has provided some of the best products and services in one of the largest influential business regions from across the globe. The awards celebrate the very best that the UAE’s business market has to offer and acknowledge the accomplishments made by the individuals responsible for their thriving industry – from oil and gas, tourism and construction, to technology, food and beverages and Islamic Finance.
The recently celebrated museum project designed and delivered by Action Impact, is the Saruq Al-Hadid Archaeology Museum. Housed in a historic building in the Shindagha Heritage District of Dubai, the museum tells the story of one of the most exciting and mysterious archaeological sites yet discovered in the Emirate. The museum uses state-of-the-art audio-visual technology to help visitors discover and learn more about Saruq Al-Hadid – ‘The Way of Iron’ – a remote desert site that was a centre for metalworking some three thousand years ago.
Co-founder and Executive Director Adrian Bell says “We love getting awards for great work but the museum at Saruq Al-Hadid is something really quite special. It was a particularly challenging project, designed and delivered at breathtaking speed and with an outcome that has made us all incredibly proud."
Discussing the awards Sophie Milner, Awards Coordinator commented: “As business continues to boom in the UAE I am honoured to be able to showcase the very best of the best from across the region’s dynamic corporate landscape. I would like to congratulate Action Impact and wish them the best of luck going forward.”
