flydubai was expanding its network to serve a range of exciting new destinations and introducing the latest developments for its award-winning in-flight entertainment system.
Its challenge to Action Impact was to share this exciting news through an exhibition stand at the Arabian Travel Market 2013; the leading four-day travel trade show that takes place at the Dubai World Trade Centre every year.
With 2,500 exhibitors and over 17,000 visitors the experience needed to stand out through story-telling that got people involved.
This was our second show with flydubai and a great opportunity to help the client build awareness and forge new relationships with partners in the travel industry.
We developed a range of interactive content including a specially produced video playing on the stand’s feature wall and a touchscreen map showing the new destinations served by the airline. By clicking on a location, visitors could highlight the route and access information such as flight frequencies, fares, local insights and imagery.
On the stand, flydubai’s cabin crew added a human and friendly touch, complementing the digital elements on display. The stand attracted high volumes of visitors and was considered a huge success for flydubai.
