Total, one of the world’s major Oil and Gas Company, sponsored The Abu Dhabi Science Festival which aims to encourage the youth into the sciences by stimulating intrigue and interest through a series of interactive exhibits and learning experiences.
With an aim to teach the visitors about oil and gas production process, Action Impact designed and built a series of bespoke interactive activations.
Total's Oil & Gas journey begins with a game which allows kids to physically pump the oil from the ground in order to reach the super tanker. Moving on to the next game, the children spin a wheel as fast as they can to bring the super tanker into the dock. Children then use simple building bricks to make their own gas plant. And on the final stage kids use a modified skill tester to replicate the logistic of moving barrels to residential and commercial areas.
One of the unique attractions of the stand is a mini version of a real petrol pump which offer kids the first time experience of holding the petrol hose and filling a car fuel tank.
