The western region of Abu Dhabi stretches along the coast to the Saudi Arabian border. It’s an extraordinary area with untouched beaches and striking sand dunes. WRDCs task is to shape and promote the region to residents, tourists and investors. The purpose is to promote and bring awareness to the new name: Al Gharbia. The audience should “dream about the region”.
The video was shot with a small film crew who travelled around the region during one week. The result is a collage of moments capturing residents, tourists and nature. Music was composed with traditional local instruments and used together with western harmonies to create a music score that applies to a wide audience.
