Tourism Development &Investment Company (TDIC), a master developer of major cultural, residential and tourism destinations in Abu Dhabi, has signed an alliance agreement with Action Impact, the UAE-headquartered award-winning live event communications agency, which will now be responsible for delivering a broad range of face-to-face communications for TDIC’s live events and brand experiences over the next two years.
"This alliance will address the growing marketing demands of TDIC's extensive and expanding development portfolio," explained Lee Tabler, CEO, TDIC. "By cultivating a partnership approach with our valued suppliers, we foster a greater sense of project ownership; a deeper understanding of our needs and a more efficient and enhanced quality of output".
TDIC says the alliance will allow the company scaling its resources to meet projected future demand. "It also enables our partner to adopt a 'bigger picture' approach to our needs and allows them to plan and scale to meet our long-term requirements. We are confident that this partnership will also secure a 'more cost effective platform' to operate from while maintaining a focus on quality," said Alan Gordon, TDIC's Executive Director of Marketing & Public Relations.
TDIC and Action Impact have a strong partnership track record through the previous delivery of numerous launch projects such as the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Museum and Louvre Abu Dhabi planned for the Cultural District of Saadiyat Island, which is taking shape just offshore the UAE capital.
"We're absolutely thrilled at having the opportunity to build upon our existing successful partnership with TDIC and the emirate of Abu Dhabi. Our company is fully-committed to delivering on TDIC's 'vote of confidence'," said Action Impact's co-founder Adrian Bell.
"The new alliance definitely cements our strong partnership, and gives TDIC unprecedented access to world-class creative resources and expertise," added Bell.
TDIC is charged with assisting the provision of a world-class tourism infrastructure which will fulfil the emirate's ambition of becoming a truly global destination of distinction. Since its establishment in April 2006, TDIC has built up an impressive project portfolio and is behind some of Abu Dhabi's most prestigious developments including two major destinations - Saadiyat Island, which will house the world's largest single concentration of premier cultural institutions, and Desert Islands which will be one of the world's largest sustainable island tourism destinations.
TDIC has also earned an international reputation as a world-class partner with its credentials now boasting alliances with some of the world’s best architects, hospitality brands and cultural institutions.
